Welcome to the
Somali Society of Engineers

I am honored to be nominated as the President of the Somali Society of Engineers for 2024-2025 year. The SSE organization was formed to Empower Somali Engineers to innovate, collaborate and lead initiatives that shape the future of Somali Engineering. The reason why I decided to join these group of Somali Engineers is that I personally felt that we were missing a connection between the Somali Engineers that have been in the industry for a very long time like me and the ones that are just graduating and entering the industry. I feel like these new upcoming engineers need mentors to guide them through how to make it in the corporate world and be successful. Using this platform, we can share lessons learnt and advice that we have made within our careers that can benefit them as they work towards their career goals. I am looking forward to all the events that we have in place as we embark on this journey for the 2024-2025 year and hope we can continue this organization in the years to come.
